The 2 paintings below are made by a GCSE student. They have been developed by using a variety of materials and techniques such as arm knitting, stencilling and mark-making methods.
The set of work above is based on Autism. The students brother has Autism and she wanted to express the condition through her art. She celebrated Autism through 10 amazing facts that make her brother unique alongside an image of her brother wearing a T shirt with 'Autism is my superpower' written on the front. Through investigations and experiments the work gradually evolved into a series of expressive outcomes.
The 3 paintings below are inspired by the Artist Daniel John Gadd and were shaped by experiments and research into pollution.

Year 9 Bacteria Project
Artwork in response to the them 'Identity'. The student researched her family tree and made studies distressing photos and backgrounds to evoke memories and fading thoughts and used branches to present her ideas.
Below is work inspired by 'Communication'- our everyday language. The student looked at text and lettering from an abstract perspective.
A Level work inspired by the theme 'Natural Form'.
GCSE work inspired by urban iconography and the work of the Artist Jon Wessel.
